Bluth’s Frozen Bananas
serves 6
3 large bananas
6 oz. chocolate of choice (milk, dark, white chocolate)
1 tablespoon coconut oil, solid (canola oil can be substituted)
optional:
popsicle sticks (recommended)
toppings of choice
1. Peel bananas, cut in half, assemble with popsicle sticks. Freeze for 1 hour or longer. Practice your favorite chicken dance, blue yourself, or watch some netflix.
2. After bananas stiffen, microwave the chocolate and coconut oil in a shallow bowl or a plate with high rims for 30 seconds. Stir and repeat if necessary. Once chocolate is melted, roll banana halves until all sides are generously covered. If adding toppings, roll chocolate covered banana halves in toppings while the chocolate is still wet. Freeze for at least 2 hours or until set.
3. After you eat all the frozen bananas, make sure to leave a note to avoid the wrath of J. Walter Weatherman.
for larger batches: add 2 oz of chocolate and 1 teaspoon of oil for every full-sized banana used.

Olivia Pope-Approved Popsicles
serving for 6 3oz popsicle mold
While Olivia Pope is rarely seen sipping on anything other than red wine, she would surely make an exception for these mock-sangria popsicles.
3/4 cup red grape juice
1 cup chopped fruit (apples, orange, raspberries, grapes, blackberries, pineapple, get creative!)
1 orange juice or fresh squeezed lemon juice (or a combination)
1/2 cup ginger ale
3 tablespoons granulated sugar
Put fruit to medium bowl and place aside.
Heat small pan on stove over medium heat. Add orange and lemon juices and sugar to pan. Stir until sugar has dissolved, then remove pan from heat and allow to cool to room temperature.
Combine grape juice and ginger ale in separate bowl. Once room temperature, add the orange/lemon syrup.
Divide fruit up equally into the popsicle molds. Pour liquids into mold, reserve a small amount of space for the stick handle. Place handles in mold, freeze overnight.
